Deutsches Hygiene-Museum
Over 12,000 hygiene oriented objects and exhibits.
Category Medical Museums
The Deutsches Hygiene-Museum was founded in 1912, has a collection of over 12,000 objects and features a rotating exhibition. But its permanent exhibition is the main draw.
The museum describes itself as a museum of the human, and in that spirit, most of the permanent collection is devoted to some part of the body or mind. Inside the sleek, modern museum are rooms focused on Living and Dying; Eating and Drinking; Remembering, Thinking, and Learning; and Sexuality, among others.
