Along a walking bush track from the Red Rock boat launch to Yuraygir National Park resides a unique eucalyptus tree. The hollow of the tree has become a haven for gnomes, angels, and other wacky figurines. The gnome stronghold was created over the years by various visitors who left their own additions to the growing collection. The gnome nook also contains several signs such as, “Gnome Sweet Gnome” and another that reads, “Better Gnomes and Gardens in Red Rock.”
Know Before You Go
Walk past the Red Rock boat ramp and into Yuraygir National Park onto a man-made, bushwalking ramp. Follow until the end of the ramp and the path turns to natural ground. You'll eventually come around a corner and see the gnome holm.
