If you’re looking for an unusual accommodation in Nantes, France, look no further than the Hamster Villa. Complete with a fully functioning wheel and a bed of hay, the Hamster Villa allows visitors to live out a strange night as a cuddly childhood pet.

Designer Yann Falquerho came up with the idea for the bizarre hotel room after realizing the hotel industry was lacking “on the little-known animal-transformation niche.” Falquerho opened his hotel in 2009 to swarms of press and an even larger group of people who wanted to book the hotel for a night to live out a hamster fantasy.

Besides the hamster wheel, $150 per night gets you your very own water tube and a double bed thats accessible from a small step ladder. Although the Hamster Villa seems sparse now, Falquerho has plans to include a big-screen television in the future to mix a touch of human into his hotel room/cage.
