The tower 5 of Felskinn Aerial Tramway in Switzerland may be the only tower of a cable car (also known as an aerial tramway or ropeway) through whose legs a ski-lift runs.
Tower 5 has a second interesting feature: It is built on a glacier and as such its foundations are not fixed. As the ice flows slowly, so too does the tower. Which, despite reassurances from the operators, doesn’t make you too confident about the safety of the cable car.
