Poison - The Perfect Murder Weapon

Every true crime aficionado knows poisons can be the ultimate stealth murder weapon. Deaths can easily be attributed to illness or other natural causes, and, in some cases, years may pass before a poison death is identified and an investigation is initiated—if it's ever identified at all. Join Atlas Obscura for an in-depth discussion with a Dr. David George, a seasoned toxicologist about the crucial role of forensic science in murder-by-poisoning cases. We will review and discuss features of poison homicide investigations, using examples drawn from contemporary murder cases, ranging from the ordinary to the downright bizarre.
