Looking for the perfect thing to class up your favorite cocktail? How about a little curiosity with a dash of history? Join us for a special cocktail course that'll teach you to make a better drink, and give you something to talk about at the party too!
We'll be joined by Pratt Standard Cocktail Company founder, Tory Pratt, who will lead us on a journey through the complex history of one of the world's oldest drinks: the Gin & Tonic, and its relative, the Gin Rickey. The tale of this medicinal drink weaves from Peru to Indonesia to British India, and beyond. And Tory will share tips and tricks for making the best Gin & Tonic along the way.
Over the course of the event, we'll cover two classic cocktails - a proper Gin & Tonic and a Gin Rickey. You can join us just to watch and learn make a cocktail right along with Tory! You can find an ingredient list below, and recipes will be included with registration confirmation. Non-alcoholic options will also be discussed.

Ingredients List (If you'd like to make a Gin & Tonic along with Tory)
- Fresh Ice
- Gin (if you can find Navy Strength Style Gin we'll tell you all about it)
- Tonic (either commercial or artisanal tonic syrup or lemon tonic syrup from Pratt Syrups, plus club soda)
- Soda water/seltzer
- 1-2 fresh limes per person
- A citrus juicer or a fork
- A collins glass
- A bar spoon or a chopstick
- A knife
