Armen Ra is more than just an accomplished musician; he has been lauded as something of an alchemist, even a mythical being. Born in Iran to an Armenian family, Armen had an artistic upbringing. As a child he would often read tarot cards, using them as a medium to develop his intuitive, healing senses. It was when he was introduced to the theremin that he found his true calling in music. Armen Ra has since played all over the world and with some of the biggest artists, beginning his career with Antony and the Johnsons and later touring and opening for Nick Cave.
Bringing his unique healing and hypnotic soundscape experience to the virtual world, Armen Ra invites you to join him for a relaxing and transcendental evening of sound meditation. For this thirty minute music meditation, Armen will begin with a few sacred hymns before leading attendees into a state of deep relaxation with the theremin's sound waves.
