Stephanie Joseph joined the New York Aquarium two years ago as the Curator of Education. Over the last 20 years, she’s enjoyed sharing her passion for animals and conservation with guests of all ages. Stephanie is excited to continue exploring New York’s natural areas and building partnerships around the city. Her favorite shark at NYA is the leucistic zebra shark.
Ethan Angelica has been talking about animals at Wildlife Conservation Society parks for over 13 years! Today, he helps coordinate live interpretation at the New York Aquarium, which means lots of touch pools, keeper chats, behind the scenes tours and even the occasional sea lion high-five. When he’s not doing animal things, Ethan is a professional tour guide, having worked with the likes of Museum Hack, City Brew Tours and even Atlas Obscura! His favorite shark is the Epaulette shark.
Once registered, you can access the Zoom room for this experience through your confirmation email or Eventbrite account. Atlas Obscura online experiences are recommended for attendees age 13+.
