When Jaina Bee purchased this home in 1997, they had the vision of creating a collaborative-art utopia. Over the years they did just that — Jaina welcomed creative friends (and friends of friends) to visit and transform the space with art and the result is a truly one-of-a-kind home with a life and story of its own.
In this experience, we'll tune in live to Jaina's home and take a virtual tour of the space and the many art installations that fill its walls. There are too many highlights to list, but perhaps the most striking piece in the home is Jason Mecier’s PencilVania art installation enveloping Jaina’s three-story stairwell. Made out of over 185 thousand colored pencils, this piece mesmerizes you with its intricate patterns and details. You can also look forward to a wonderful installation in Jaina’s bathroom, named The Yellow Submarine Crash Lands on Gaudi’s Beach House in Brazil (The Movie). It’s an under the sea adventure complete with psychedelic and glow-in-the-dark curved mosaic walls, portholes and a periscope that plays 60’s surfer videos. And if that's not enough, maybe the fur mediation closet, Faux Real Diner, circus carpet, or the Haunted Parlor may peak your interest!
