About
When you arrive at Curraghduff Farms, you will be greeted with spectacular views of the Irish countryside stretching out toward Lough Corrib, along with the noises of happy chickens. But the chickens are not the highlight of this family-run farm. The alpacas are.
At Curraghduff you can arrange to meet and feed the friendly creatures or even take them for a walk. The walk is not very long, but the alpacas like to stop and nibble plants along the way. Photos are not only encouraged, but easy to take as the alpacas will lean in for their moment of fame.
While alpacas are not indigenous to Ireland, they are becoming more popular. Spending time with these delightful creatures and their loving owners is sure to put a smile on everyone's face.

Know Before You Go
You have to book your visit in advance, but this is easily done on the farm's website. Please note that the alpaca walks are only suitable for those 12 years old and over. When arriving, be sure to follow the signs as Google Maps is only so reliable.
