“America’s only truly round barn” is a photography favorite!

This unique 2 story round barn is known for it’s amazing acoustics & ingenious architecture. Barn is on the National Register of Historic Places & literally only a stone’s throw from famous Motherroad Route 66.

Structure was designed & built in 1898 by local farmer William Harrison Odor.  Odor collected & used native burr oak timbers soaked in water until soft then banded them together & forced them into the beautiful curves (via his handmade mold) needed for the walls & roof rafters. Barn measures 60 feet in diameter and 43 feet high with a local red Permian rock foundation.
