It’s in Australia and it’s by the side of the road, yes another of Australia’s Big Things.
Nothing to do with the village it’s situated in, the rural hill country road inland between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway, named for the British mother country rather than the U.S. version. This old dinosaur was built in 1998 for a local fruit festival to draw in the punters, but was kept after and erected outside the railway station. It’s now one of the tick off on your bucket list of things to do on an Australian road trip.
Know Before You Go
It gets chilly in the hills so pack a coat or jersey. Great coffee shop right opposite.
