About

In a quiet lane in the residential neighborhood of Sahakar Nagar in Pune is a museum that is said to have the largest collection of cricket memorabilia in the world.

Blades of Glory Cricket Museum is the creation of Rohan Pate, a former under-19 cricket player, who single-handedly collected a treasure trove of cricket memorabilia and souvenirs. The museum was formally inaugurated by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in 2012.

The museum is spread over 5,000 square feet. It's said to have a collection of over 50,000 items out of which, around 2,000 are on display in the museum gallery.

There are bats signed by World Cup-winning teams, signed balls, jerseys and caps, scoreboards of popular players, and entire sections dedicated to certain legends. Sir Donald Bradman, Sir Vivian Richards, Sunil Gavaskar, Allan Border, Sachin Tendulkar, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are some of the names whose signed souvenirs are on display.

Many renowned cricket players from across the world have visited this museum over the years.
