The Bruère-Allichamps Borne Milliaire dates from the 3rd century.
It was found near the church of Allichamps in 1757 and transported in 1799 at the request of Béthune-Charost to the Place de Bruère. It was dug to serve as a sarcophagus in the 5th century. The monument consists of a small platform raised by three steps bearing a pedestal on which stands the terminal, crowned by a modern molded tablet.
The terminal is a limestone block, where the original rectangular section can be seen under the scraps made when it was transformed into a sarcophagus. The top bears an inscription. This milestone of the Bituriges Cubes territory, placed at the crossroads of the Roman roads on the outskirts of Allichamps, probably dates from the 3rd century.

The Borne milliaire de Bruère-Allichamps is situated at the center of a roundabout near the Café du Commerce, and close to Boulangerie Pactat. The roundabout is crossed by the Rue du Pont, the Avenue de Saint Amand, and the Route de Bourges
