About
Even famous fly-boys have to be grounded sometime and world renowned aviator Charles Lindbergh was buried in a location nearly as beautiful as the endless skies he navigated.
The grave site sits on a breathtaking cliff overlooking the ocean on the road to Hana, Hawaii. Lindbergh is said to have chosen this resting place because of its unmatchable beauty. Lindbergh himself also designed his own humble headstone and coffin. The grave is accompanied by a quaint coral church which has been at the site since 1857. With the spectacular ocean view and incomparable natural beauty all around, the burial site is a fitting final resting place for a man who never wanted to be on the ground at all.
