About
One of the biggest success stories of the Los Angeles food truck movement, Coolhaus got its start when co-founders Freya Estreller and Natasha Case bought a used postal truck and drove it around Coachella to hawk their homemade cookies and ice cream. The truck was such a hit that it soon took off in L.A., with flavors like Balsamic Fig & Mascarpone and Chocolate Chipotle BBQ with Jack Daniel's cementing the company’s reputation as ice cream innovators.
Now in the midst of an expansion which has seen Coolhaus spreading to Texas, New York, and Florida, Coolhaus has also moved into brick-and-mortar operations here in Southern California, with stores in Culver City and Old Pasadena.
Update: As of August 2019, this Coolhaus location is permanently closed.
