Dennis Hopper Mural

"Dennis was an inspiration to all and will 4 ever be missed" wrote artist Madsteez, who painted the mural of Hopper. 

Madsteez, a young California artist, had previously had the chance to paint a portrait of Hopper before the actors death, and so when he was given the chance to paint a large mural on the beach he felt it was his chance to honor the actor. Hopper an artist himself has some of his work hanging in nearby Danny's Deli.

Update: This mural has been long painted over (RIP Mr. Dennis Hopper).
