Everly Brothers Monument
Home to a monument dedicated to the American Rock duo along with a collection of music memorabilia.
In 1988, the Everly Brothers began a benefit concert for Central City, Kentucky, an annual tradition that lasted until 2002.
Today, the Central City Commission of Tourism houses the Everly Brothers Monument that commemorates their generosity. The office also hosts the Muhlenberg County Music Museum with a working jukebox full of local legends, memorabilia from local artists and actors, and everything visitors will ever need to know about Kentucky Thumbpicking.
Behind the museum, visitors will also find the Kentucky Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum, which includes Don Everly’s sporty little MG and a great race car collection.
The guided tour is its own piece of local history full of memories and well worth the trip.
