About

The Folk Art Farm is nestled on 2.5 acres in the mountains in Whiskey Creek, Vancouver. The rustic grounds are shared between musicians, artists, and land lovers.

Artist Don Thompson dedicated his life to creating his own slice of paradise, and will always be remembered for his whimsical folk art carvings and paintings. An eclectic mix of folk art is scattered throughout the property. Wander around, and you'll spot the "udderly fantastic" cows playing in a band, the bridge to nowhere,  a "Spam booth," and so much more.

Thompson's son Gary, a musician, pays homage to his father's memory by hosting the annual Whiskey Creek Music Festival every August. The event showcases his father's life's work as well as infuse his musical passion.

Celebrities including Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, and J.K. Rowling have been photographed with his pieces on the property. The property hosts an Airbnb and welcomes visitors to explore and share the creative property.
