About

Download the history of the home computer through a full hands-on experience. This museum's collection includes some 500 computers from 1975 through 2008(ish), which are ready for you to experience, play with, and learn from.

You can learn about the evolution of computers, how a modern computer came to be, and the people who created and used this technology. All computers are original and set in their natural surroundings with desks, chairs, and even wallpapers from the same era as the different computers.

The museum is home to a large collection of PC games, CD-i, Philips computers, and Tulip computers. The only working Aesthedes is also in the museum, as well as computers used for special effects on the 1998 movie Titanic and an Amiga used by NASA. You can also experience systems like Nintendo's Virtual Boy, Bandai Pippin, NeXTcube, Apple Lisa, and so on. It's all working and hands-on.

The HomeComputerMuseum has an in-house repair department and spends a lot of time on research. They offer services including repair, data recovery, and digital preservation.
