Keddy Mill
Windham, Maine
An abandoned mill where flowers, trees, and other wildlife have begun to reclaim the defunct factory.
Keddy Mill
Constructed in the early 1900s, Keddy Mill is a little known abandoned industrial complex. The Keddy Mill company began a metal manufacturing operation in the 1960s that continued well into the 1970s. During its operational years, the mill ran on hydroelectricity but has been abandoned for decades
Inside the complex, are old crates and antique machinery. Foliage and other small trees have begun to grow inside, as nature has started to reclaim the center of the warehouse.
Update as of October 2019: The Keddy Mill is listed as a Superfund site and is hazardous to enter.
