Located in beautiful Centre Vale Park, this life-sized steel sculpture of a sitting dog has gained a reputation for bringing good fortune to anybody who gives it a friendly pat.

The statue, which is also known by the name of Victor, is dedicated to the canine companion of former mayor Albert Palmer.
