About

Tucked away behind a door hidden inside an unassuming office build, Asia's first museum of miniatures is a marvel to behold. Husband-and-wife duo Lin Wen-jen and Lin Chin-mei founded the museum in 1997, after discovering a shared obsession with all things Lilliputian. The couple had been amassing a considerable collection for years during their travels before they decided to share it with the public.

Although the entrance is barely marked, this smallest of attractions draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. From a 1:12 scaled model of a British pub to Buckingham Palace, all of the works on display are remarkably detailed. One of the true jewels of the collection is the Rose Mansion, an impeccable 1:12 scale model of an 1885 mansion in Los Angeles reproduced in miniature by Reginald Twigg. Be sure to keep an eye out for the world's tiniest functional TV.
