About

One day someone walks up to a lonely tree and flings a pair of old sneakers into its branches. The next day someone sees the pair of shoes in the tree and thinks to themselves, "You know what this tree needs? Another pair of shoes."

A few months later you have a fully grown shoe tree. If you find yourself in Michell, Oregon, go see the shoe tree—and make it an offering.

Know Before You Go

This shoe tree is on the north side of 26 and it is visible from the highway. You have to pull onto the soft shoulder to actually get close but keep an eye out for rattlesnakes.
