About

Also known as the Quidnessett Rock, the Narragansett Runestone is a 2.5-ton slab of metasandstone inscribed with two rows of symbols, which have been the subject of heavy debate. Some believe that these symbols were inscribed by hundreds of years ago by either Native Americans or Vikings. Others have suggested that they're not ancient runes but rather more recent additions.
