The Omarama Clay Cliffs are enormous pinnacles of gravel and silt shaped by centuries of erosion, providing a glimpse into the region’s geological history.
Walking between the formations, visitors may feel like they’ve been transported to another planet. The backdrop of the Southern Alps makes for breathtaking views.

This is located on private property, and there is a donation box at the entry gate requesting $5.
