About
Located in a national park in northeast Brazil, this site is full of incredible prehistoric paintings and archeological findings.
It is an open-air museum. Within the park is the "Museu do Homem Americano" (American huMan Museum), which houses a collection of some 50,000-year-old findings of human activity.
The area is rich in nature and can be visited throughout the year, even during the rainy season when the heat is tolerable unless you don't like being wet.
