About

Abandoned Mental Hospital for the mentally challenged; when first built was used as a mental asylum. During World War II the facility was used to house German POWs; after the war, it became a mental rehabilitation center for the mentally ill. Considered one of the most haunted places in the United States, the huge complex looks like something from a zombie movie, and I certainly have plenty of horror stories from exploring these incredible ruins.

Know Before You Go

Bay St., Taunton MA. Most of the abandoned buildings are only accessible from entering the woods bordering the area.
