About

Best viewed from the other side of the River Don, visitors to this region of England are treated to this brilliant and beautiful mural from local street artist an international repute, Phlegm.

Known for his monochrome pictures and fantasy figures, the mural has been at this location since 2013. It features a nautical fantasy scene that includes a boat filled with Phlegm's characteristic figures following a giant squid.

The pub that hosts the mural is a great place to grab a drink and something to eat. The mural is painted on the walls near the bank of the river behind the pub, adjacent to the beer garden and terrace.
