About

This painting, which is over four stories tall, was painted in 1996 by local Canarian artist Louis Morena. It is a true-to-life depiction of the Los Tios waterfall, which can be found in La Palma's caldera. The work is one of the biggest to date by the artist, and is loved by both locals and visitors alike.

The mural hangs in the lush atrium of the Taburiente Playa Hotel. Many say it is this mural that makes the rest of the atrium look so much like a patch of nature.
