Several kilometers off the coast of Nova Scotia, the leatherback sea turtle partakes in its annual migration. These turtles journey from the balmy Caribbean Sea to the North Atlantic in pursuit of its primary source of prey, jellyfish.

Back on shore, a colorfully painted jellyfish wall commemorates this occasion on Halifax’s Sea Turtle Centre. Despite its small size, this center packs a fascinating interactive museum, kids craft center, unique gift shop, and bubble machine into a floorspace just larger than its focus animal.
