About

A derelict amusement park operating in northeastern Japan. The park has a (extremely inauthentic) New Zealand theme and boasts a small collection of farm animals and a vast number of broken down attractions which make for great viewing.

There were originally four New Zealand Village parks built but, due to low admission numbers, the Tohoku Village is the only one that remains open. Nestled in the mountains of Iwate the park is peaceful and surreal. Many of the buildings and attractions have been closed and left to the elements. Even those buildings and attractions that remain open are ill-maintained and falling apart.

Update February 2019: This business is no longer in operation.
