About
Otherwise known as the University of Massachusetts Entomology Collection, this miniature museum is home to a vast array of insects both alive and deceased. Of the more than 100,000 specimens on the display, at least half have been carefully identified.
With rather quiet hissing cockroaches on the left and beautifully taxidermied fluorescent butterflies on the right, the UMass entomology collection is not recommended for the squeamish. It's a notable spot for anyone interested in entomology, or just dead things.
