Visiting Walhalla requires a bit of time and a hike to reach the gorgeous temple-like structure housing busts of famous German-speaking artists, scientists, composers, theorists, thinkers, and memorable individuals from the region’s history.

The view over the Danube River is breathtaking and undeniably worth the many stairs it takes to reach it.
