About

A hidden gem within walking distance of the capitol building tucked away behind several apartments. The plants and hedges are overgrown, and weeds grow through the sidewalk cracks. However, this park hosts many events during the summer months for the residents and general public.

Western Sculpture Park is a collaborative venture between Public Art Saint Paul and the City of Saint Paul. The goal is to imagine and create a more beautiful city by placing artists in leading roles.

Know Before You Go

Exit off I-94W on Marion Rd, or Kellogg Blvd coming from I-94E. The park is on Marion, to the right is the old Sears building and the park is on the left. Plenty of street parking is available on both sides of the road and side streets. Just read the signs to avoid costly downtown tickets. Do not park in apartment building parking lots.

There are plenty of delicious foods within walking distance on University Ave.
