About
The World of Wearable Arts Museum is a magnificent look at incredible works of art that have become fashionable outfits. The garments on display are all from the World Of Wearable Arts Show, which is held annually in Wellington, New Zealand.
The competition originally started off as a local contest in the tiny town of Nelson. Since, the event has transformed into an international extravaganza, with garments hailing from over 40 countries. These days, the show attracts over 60,000 people a year and has become one of the hottest tickets in the region.
Another feature of the museum is its robust car collection. The exhibit chronicles the past 100 years of automobile history, advancement, and style.
