Lorraine Boissoneault
Lorraine is a writer covering science, history, and anything else that piques her curiosity. Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Smithsonian Magazine, Playboy Magazine, Hakai Magazine, Passblue, Slate and others. Her first narrative nonfiction book, The Last Voyageurs (Pegasus Books/2016) was a finalist for the Chicago Book of the Year Award.
In addition to working as a journalist, Lorraine is a sailor, Francophone, native of the Great Lakes region, sword fighter, animal-lover, and fiction writer.
