Snail Mail Chronicles
I'm a history geek. Nobody's perfect. I spent 15 years on the road with an entertainment company, where I lived in 79 cities. Unofficially it's more than that because, on days off, I went on day or weekend trips. On my holiday from a travelling job, I travelled some more. After having the time of my life, I unpacked my suitcases for good. Now that I've settled down in a post-pandemic world, I don't miss travelling physically, but I miss the thought-provoking anecdotes that only travel can bring. I looked at various subscriptions out there; digital, mail or magazines. I found some wonderful and creative ones, some of which I'm happily subscribed to. However, I didn't find one that focused on specific historical locations, especially those with unusual or peculiar stories, so I decided to do it myself. During the process, I found this site, it's right up my alley!
My goal is to awaken curiosity in the world, one letter at a time. Besides, nothing beats snail mail (and whenever possible, I use real postage stamps, because let's be honest, they are much more fun).
