I have many interests including ancient history, history of WWII, and the American West, especially the Pacific Northwest. I eat up magazines and websites like Smithsonian and Atlas Obscura and would like to find more like them on the Internet, but alas, my only Internet access is at my local library or occasionally with one of their portable wifi hotspots if one is available. My profile photo was taken at an event of the Society for Creative Anachronism several years and I enjoy making correct period clothing for the Middle Ages, Victorian, and Edwardian eras.
