Watch the Wondrous Costco Pizza Sauce Dispenser in Action
It’s the lazy chef’s dream.
It’s close to dinnertime, and you find yourself trapped in an eternal internal struggle: You want something delicious, but lack the patience to make something labor-intensive after a long workday. Luckily, the like-minded souls behind the “Cooking for Dads” YouTube channel have documented how it’s possible to make a pizza in 30 seconds (well, part of one anyway) at the food and utility emporium Costco.
In the video above, the intrepid chef takes a dough docker—a tool that helps prevent air bubbles from forming on the pie’s surface—to a large piece of pre-made pizza dough. That’s easy enough to find online. Unfortunately, the second contraption, a gigantic, revolving pizza sauce dispenser, is too bulky for the home cook. Still, it’s magnificent, and dispenses sauce in a long, satisfying swirl.
The massive pizza sauce dispenser seems to be a Costco mainstay, though, so if you need a quick slice or want to see how it’s made, you know where to go. Or, just enjoy this slow-motion video of the pizza sauce dispenser twirling away.
