“Dude, don’t go outside.” Those were very nearly the famous last words of two Sydney men who narrowly escaped being struck by lightning during a storm in the city’s Oyster Bay last weekend. 

The two men, Nick Panayiotou and his friend Daniel Dudman, were standing in a boat shed and filming the storm, when a bolt of lightning struck the ground right in front of them. This video captures the moment and their (censored) profanity-laden reaction.
