16 Places to Celebrate Women's Suffrage

As the 2024 United States election nears, we reflect on the brave individuals who fought for women’s right to vote in the U.S. and beyond. It has become a tradition for women to leave “I Voted” stickers on Susan B. Anthony’s grave—this year, her former home in Rochester is an official polling place. Though Anthony is one of the most famous names in women’s suffrage in America, museums and monuments across the country celebrate the countless women who contributed to the movement.
