Belgrade Milestone

This small bronze pyramid marks the center of Belgrade, but some say it is a Masonic symbol.

A small pyramid stands in front of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Art building on Knez Mihailova, a busy pedestrian street at the heart of Belgrade. The pyramid was conceived as a monument to science and was erected as part of the exhibition the Measuring World in 1955. On it are the coordinates of the city of Belgrade.

However, some believe that it was made by Freemasons and that it is one of many Masonic symbols that can be seen on facades of buildings in Belgrade. They state that the only difference with the Masonic symbol is that there is no All-Seeing Eye on the pyramid.
