Fosso Bianco
Nestled in the hills of Tuscany are gorgeous, multicolored hot springs.
This entry is a stub
These gorgeous hot springs are a must-see for anyone visiting Tuscany. A wooded path leads you to the secluded pools surrounded by trees. The colors are simply spectacular, and when the weather is nice, you can find Italians and tourists climbing to reach different pools on the hillside.
The calcium carbonate deposits in the water not only make for a relaxing day, but also create intricate patterns that make the bagni so unique. The higher you climb, the hotter the water, and the path to the pools is fairly easy for someone in good shape, as the calcium is rough rather than slippery.
Know Before You Go
The best way to access the hot springs is by car. You will park alongside a trail, and you need to hike for 5-10 minutes before you reach the falls. You will definitely smell it before you reach it.
