About
The old Reno arch is located next to the National Automobile Museum. Since the arch was created for the Nevada Transcontinental Highway Exposition, it's fitting that it's right next door to the automobile museum.
Do not be confused by the newest version on Virginia Street. Even Google has pictures of the Virginia Street location at the original Reno arch location on Lake Street. Both arches are within walking distance of each other. The arch spans across Lake Street just south of the Truckee River. It's a simpler version from a simpler time. The city slogan, “The Biggest Little City In The World," was added after the creation of the arch and was removed for a time, but later added back after public outcry. The slogan itself is approaching 100 years old.

The arch is over a public road meaning its always available to see. But for cool pictures, venture out at night to see the sign lit up.
