About
The irresistible force of glacial drift gave way to inertia some 14,000 years ago, leaving this 700-ton sample of gneiss as a testament to the Ice Age that blanketed the Puget Sound area.
One of six large erratics found in the Puget Sound, the Wedgwood Rock has a history as a picnic destination. Approximately 19 feet at its tallest, this rock should pose no challenge for an intrepid mountaineer.
