I am a library archivist for an arts center, and I am also a country girl always looking for the road less traveled. Our curator says "don't take the highway, take the byway" and that is exactly what I like to do. A random cemetery, an old feed mill, an abandoned church, fruit trees around a foundation of a home long gone... I am especially fascinated with rural history and environmental builders. You will find me looking for hidden locations while on the back of my horse. So much to see off the beaten path!
