I'm the type of person who doesn't fit well into an "About Me" box, because I'm basically a walking, talking conglomerate rock that's constantly adding pieces. What was supposed to be a 3-month long internship abroad to help me "figure out my life" after college has turned into two years that have only fed my curiosities. In that time, I've worked as a conservationist, professional scuba diver, wine seller, and most recently, a writer. The last is the one that has stuck, as I realized part of my insatiable desire for travel and adventure revolves around stories: Hearing them, living them, and telling whoever will listen. Particular interests include the ocean, history, and cultures, but the conglomerate is always growing. My fascination with the art of storytelling and a desire to put my passion for finding unusual travel destinations to good use is what brought me to Atlas Obscura.
