Ever since childhood, I have loved to explore. Hiking, biking, and road trips have always been favorite activities, and my imagination has always been captured by signs and stories of forgotten, abandoned, mysterious, or unexplained locations and phenomena. Naturally, any opportunity to combine my love of exploration with my love of all things mysterious is something too good to pass up, so Atlas Obscura is, as they say, quite solidly within my proverbial wheelhouse.
