Michael Hudec

I am a salt-tectonics specialist with a strong background in shale tectonics. I have more than 30 years of experience in seismic interpretation, structural restoration, and regional analysis of salt structures. I am the principal Investigator of the Applied Geodynamics Laboratory (AGL), an industry-sponsored research consortium investigating salt and mobile shale. I am the author or co-author of more than 100 technical papers and two books: The Salt Mine and Salt Tectonics – Principles and Practice.
